Romanian “Orient Express” – The Royal Train

The Royal Train
The Royal Train

Did you know that the Royal Train was commisioned by King Ferdinand to Ernesto Breda plant in Milano, but the sovereign died before it was ready, in 1928? Its five wagons display an exquisite design, with Cordoba leather and Murano glass lamps. I wish I had the chance to travel by this sassy train!

PS: If you want to visit it, you can go to Gara de Nord Station, where the train will be exhibited between 5th and 10th of April! Can’t wait to see the Royal Train again!
