In the 1930’s, Ionica’s Barbershop, located on the ground floor of Athenee Palace Hotel, was not only a beauty temple for the upper class, but also the best place in town to hear the latest gossips.

One could have seen there famous politicians, wealthy business men, foreign diplomats, beautiful high-class ladies and even foreign spies, during the Second World War.

Extremely up-to-date with everything that was going on in Bucharest, Ionica’s hairdressers shared the rumors with their clients, but only for the right amount of money 🙂.

From ‪#‎Bucharest‬, with love!
