This website is kind of a work in progress since I launched it in 2019, if I remember right. But 2026 is the year when I’ll have a more settled and hopefully better online presence. It’s been a while since I’ve published anything new here, but, as you may guess, I have a good reason :). Of course, there is always a good reason why we postpone or delay doing things.

So, to keep it short, the last almost 7 years have been full of interesting personal and professional experiences. 2019 was a great year for my business as a private tour guide; 2020 looked even better. On paper, of course, as we all know what happened. 2021 started slightly better, but not even close to the 2019 expectations.

By the summer of 2021, my personal life took a turn I hadn’t even fathomed in September 2019. Why this very specific date? Because that is when I met my future husband (no idea at that moment :)) during a… well, you guessed right, during a tour of Bucharest. Back in 2021. I’ve decided to move with him to Switzerland and see what life abroad is like.

So the next 4 years brought a lot of exciting and sometimes unexpected changes. I’ve managed to start my freelancing work here as well and did private guided tours in Geneva, Lausanne, Vevey, and Montreux. Meanwhile, I was going back and forth to Romania, where I also had a lot of new requests or postponed tours from 2020.

Well, I said I was going to be brief, and here we are, a few paragraphs later. 2026 is the year to brush up on this website because I am moving back to my home country, Romania. I’ll be living in Brasov, your perfect base to discover our very famous and beautiful Transylvania.

I am super excited to launch the new version of my website soon, not to mention how thrilled I am about doing private tours again in my beautiful country.
